Appraisers are bound by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), which was established to "promote and maintain a high level of public trust in the appraisal practice by establishing requirements for appraisers".
Also, appraisers do not consider Race, Religion, or Sex in the development of the appraisal. Regardless of current information in the media, the appraiser is unbiased in all factors concerning the development of the appraisal.
